Salli Solo Swing — frequently asked questions

About the Salli Solo Swing

The Solo Swing (Classic Swing) combines a single-piece saddle seat with the active spring mechanism. The seat tilts gently in all directions in response to body weight for continuous micro-movement — engaging core muscles and improving circulation throughout the day.
Both have the active swing mechanism. The key difference is the seat — the Solo Swing has a single-piece seat, while the Salli Swing has the patented split seat. The split seat eliminates perineal pressure more effectively. Choose the Solo Swing if you prefer a unified saddle seat with active movement.
Yes — identical spring mechanism and same range of movement (less than 5° in all directions). The Solo Swing has a single-piece seat; the SwingFit has an adjustable-width split seat.
The Solo Swing is available in three material types: Leather/Vinyl (18 colours — recommended for dental practices, easy to wipe clean), Faux Leather (6 colours — PVC-free, soft feel), and Wool Fabric (6 colours — breathable but not recommended for clinical environments). Use the material tabs and colour swatches above to choose your combination.
You can choose between the Silver / Metallic base and the Black base. Both feature the new Salli anti-slip castor design. Click the base option above and the product image will update to show your chosen combination.
Yes — click any base option (Silver or Black) and then click any colour swatch. The main product image will update to show your exact colour and base combination in real time.

Sizing & setup

Three options: Small (under 5ft, 42.9–54.4cm), Medium (under 5ft 6, 51.6–69.6cm — most popular), Large (over 5ft 5, 58.4–82.6cm). Your hips should sit slightly higher than your knees with feet flat on the floor. See our full sizing guide.
Most practitioners adapt within 2–4 weeks. Start with 2–3 hours per day and build up gradually. Some mild muscle fatigue in the first week is completely normal.
